The Aatam Saksham Abhiyaan uses the gift of legal literacy to bridge the gap between justice and lawlessness in the fabric of the Indian judiciary and inculcate self-sufficiency among the masses. The ‘Sambhav Initiative’ strives to make people self-reliant and Aatam Saksham by raising legal awareness among the general public, particularly among those who reside in the remotest of areas and are unfamiliar with the nation’s laws. It prefers to educate, enlighten and equip them with the tool of knowledge. Under the ‘Aatam Saksham Bharat Abhiyaan,’ we have initiated the movement ‘लक्ष्य,’ under which our delegates and coordinators shall visit the slums and villages to conduct literacy workshops wherein people will be made aware of their rights under the various social welfare legislations so that exploitation and ill-treatment can be reduced. Simultaneously, we would also be conducting online sessions at regular intervals to spread legal awareness to empower our society.
